This safe was located in an old Pub that was being renovated having been left in a bit of a state for around 4-5 years.
This pub was going to be a real part of the local community as a willing team of volunteers had really started to turn it around. Upon hearing this we decided it would also be nice to give something also, so we only quoted for the labour to open the safe and supplied the new lock and keypad for free. Hopefully the first pint will be pulled soon............. |

A Yale electronic safe which we opened and put back into use for the owner at no extra cost. |
The Bonus safe
As mentioned above, when the Dudley Ludlow safe was opened this little Yale electronic safe was found inside. It was clear that this safe was empty but there were no keys and the batteries had died. These safes are quite easy to get into if you know the internal workings so. A few minutes later the safe was open with no damage. Four new batteries and a new code provided another usable safe for the owner. Just finished the job off nicely........... |
Neutron Star Safe Grade 1 opened in Portsmouth, Hampshire.
This safe is situated at a large football ground on the South coast. Overtime the staff had noticed the safe was becoming more temperamental to open until the inevitable happened. The safe locked out on them.
Initially a local locksmith attended and looked at the safe. Knowing that safes are a specialist area he referred the job on. Markey Locksmiths & Safe engineers attended and quickly identified the fault as a failed re-locker. This is an added security device fitted inside to frustrate forced entry. The fault was quickly rectified and the safe put back into full use. Interestingly this Safe can also be found badged under Phoenix and Leigh safes. |

Chubb Leamington Safe opened in Hampshire.
This safe had seen service in a large Hotel in Hampshire. Unfortunately the area the safe was located in was due to be refurbished and no current members of staff knew the combination or where the keys were.
Markey Locksmiths & Safe engineers attended and opened the safe using a minimally intrusive technique.
It is worth mentioning that as well as having extra security features fitted internally, this safe has a 3 inch thick hardened plate door which took some time and effort to drill through.
Once the safe was opened the owners looked at some paperwork inside which related to 1987 which is when it is believed the last time the safe was used.
Even though this safe may not have been opened since 1987 all the mechanical bolt work worked like it was new. The signs of a good quality safe that will last for years to come.

The new owner of this Rosengrens Safe removed the lock in order to have new keys made so any old ones would no longer work. This is always sound advice. However as a result of removing the lock with the door in the open position, when the door was closed the live re-locker fired. Thus preventing the safe being opened.
We attended and dealt with the live re-locker and opened the safe. The lock can now be fitted and the safe put back into use. If you have a Rosengrens safe that needs opening call Markey Locksmiths & Safe engineers. |

There are a lot of these Home Safes installed as they represent an affordable way to keep valuables from going walkabouts. Although they do not have a high insurance rating, they can be discreetly installed out of view which is great. If you can't easily find it then you can't easily break into it........
